Oppo has officially announced the Oppo Reno 10 5G in the Kenyan market. The launch saw them unveil the Oppo Reno 10 5G and the Oppo Reno 10 pro 5G dubbed The Portrait Expert. All of the devices will be available countrywide starting 6th September. Oppo has partnered with Magical Kenya for the 100 Faces of Kenya campaign set to promote Kenya to the world using the Oppo Reno 10 series and also showcase the power of the Oppo Reno 10.
The Oppo Reno 10 5G packs a 6.7″ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 950nits. The front of the phone features a center punch-hole cut-out for the selfie camera. Inside is a Dimensity 7050 5G processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Out of the box, the phone will come with Android 13-based ColorOS 13. To the cameras, the Reno 10 packs a 64MP main camera, a 32MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP wide-angle camera on the rear. The front features a 32MP shooter. The rear camera supports up to 4K@30fps videos. The selfie camera maxes out video recording at 1080p@30fps.
To power it up, Oppo has included a 67W fast charger in the box to make sure you can juice up the 5000mAh battery as fast as possible. Other features include an infrared port, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3, Stereo speakers, under-display fingerprint, and USB Type-C. The Oppo Reno 10 5G is available in Ice Blue and Silvery grey color options. For the price, the Oppo Reno 10 5G will cost Ksh 56,999.
The pro version packs a similar display to the Oppo Reno 10 5G but on the inside it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro comes with a 50MP main camera, a 32MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP wide-angle camera. The front features a 32MP shooter. Similar to the base Oppo Reno 10, the pro can shoot rear videos up to 4K@30fps and front videos at 1080@30fps. What is added to the pro version is OIS(Optical Image Stabilisation)
The Oppo Reno 10 Pro has a 4600mAh battery which fully charges within 28 minutes using the included 80W fast charger. Other features include an Infrared port. Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB Type-C. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro will retail at Ksh 69,999.
