OnePlus introduced the Nord series a while back and the first Nord became one of the best-selling OnePlus mid-range phones. This year the model has a successor and that is the OnePlus Nord 2. The phone will launch in India on July 22nd alongside the OnePlus Buds pro.
As I write this some of the key details of the phone are already known to the public which is kind of normal nowadays for most major brands. Its been very tough for most brands to keep the products anonymous but for OnePlus, they have been giving us some teasers on their social platforms.
Back to OnePlus Nord 2, Price baba has given a clear glimpse of what the phone will look like and also how the specs on paper will be like.
OnePlus Nord 2 specifications
The phone will feature a 6.43 inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G processer, 50MP+8MP+2MP rear camera setup, and a 32MP selfie shooter. It will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The battery of the phone will be rated at 4500mAh with 65W fast charging support.
Some weeks ago OnePlus announced their merge with Oppo and before that they announced new software updates timing for their phones. Mid-range phones will get 2years of major updates and three years of security updates. The OnePlus Nord 2 will launch with OxygenOS 11.3 based on ANDROID 11.
To be honest these specs look very similar to the Oppo Reno 6 pro launched in India recently.
The price isn’t confirmed but we shall keep a closer look into the launch event on July 22nd and give an update.
